For over 6 years, I have worked with dogs of all shapes and sizes at a local kennels and rescue centre. During this time I have built up a wealth of hands on experience; getting to know different breed traits and understanding individual dogs’ characters. Ahead of coming to walk your dogs, I will arrange a visit in your home to get to know you and your dogs, in their environment and identify any routines that are in place to ensure minimum disruption.

In addition to building a bond with your dog(s), I have full public liability insurance in place, ensuring that your home and your dogs are covered while I am with them. Policy documents can be provided at the initial visit, or on request thereafter.

I know that having a stranger in your home can be unsettling, and that’s why I not only offer the initial visit for you to ask any questions and set any ‘ground rules’ but for added peace of mind, I have a Basic Disclosure via the Disclosure and Barring Service (which replaces the old CRB check). Again, this is available to view on request.

I also take your home security very seriously. All keys are securely stored within a ‘key safe’ and only signed out on appropriate days, again providing you with peace of mind that Tegan’s Tails n Trails is the right choice for your pet sitting needs.
